Palm Sunday, March 24th
We commemorate the Lord’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Mass times will remain the same at both churches and palms will be blessed at all Masses.

Chrism Mass, Wednesday, March 27th
This is a beautiful and solemn liturgy of the church celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford at 11:00am During the mass, the Oil of Catechumens, the Oil of the Sick and the Oil of Chrism are blessed by the Archbishop. Consecrating this Chrism highlights the Archbishop’s ministry and our union with him. He will be symbolically present in the Chrism which the priests and deacons will use throughout the year. All are invited to attend this mass.

The Holy Triduum
The three days Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday Vigil are actually one great celebration of salvation. This is the summit of the Liturgical Year. Though chronologically three days, they are liturgically one day unfolding for us the unity of Christ’s Paschal Mystery. The single celebration of the Triduum marks the end of the Lenten season and leads to the Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord at the Easter Vigil.
